Creating access. Changing futures.
Serve Receive Foundation was built to remove financial barriers and create real opportunities for youth athletes in Hawaiʻi.
Through free clinics, mentorship, and community support, we’re helping the next generation step onto the court—and into their future.
Serve Receive Foundation was co-founded by Ireland van der Pyl and Taj Davidson—teammates, friends, and young athletes who share a deep love for the game and a belief that opportunity should never depend on financial circumstances.
As volleyball continues to grow, so does the cost to play. Club teams, specialized training, and travel can quickly become overwhelming—leaving talented athletes priced out of the game.
Ireland and Taj met through volleyball at a young age and have grown together as players, competitors, and leaders. Their journey showed them both the privilege of access—and the responsibility to give back.
Today, SRF is working to close that gap—providing free clinics, mentorship, and inclusive opportunities that make the sport more accessible, equitable, and community-driven.
What started as a shared idea between two athletes is quickly growing into a movement across Hawaiʻi.
